We are proud to present Counterintuitive Consulting, LLC, a firm offering music supervision and producer services to the film, television, and digital entertainment industries!
Counterintuitive Consulting, LLC, is a Georgia vendor offering music supervision and producer services to entertainment projects. We give clients the advantage of someone who has legal training in document drafting and deal negotiation combined with years of experience in the music business and the relationships that come with it. Music supervision services include clearance and license agreements, commissioning new works, and performer, composer, score and soundtrack album deals. Producer services include sourcing workforce and funding, establishing and building relationships across and within entertainment industries specializing in film, animation, games, and music.
Lee’s education, training, and relationships give her an advantage. She is an Associate Member of the Recording Academy®, and member of Georgia Music Partners, Georgia Production Partnership, Atlanta Film Society, Association Internationale du Film d’Animation, and Georgia Game Developers Association. She sits on the Atlanta Board of Directors for the National Association of Record Industry Professionals, the biggest music business network in the world, now reaching over 130,000 members. She holds a B.A. in English & History and Juris Doctor from Georgia State University. Lee successfully started and grew a law practice which is now approaching its four-year anniversary serving creative entrepreneurs.
Qualified Georgia productions may claim music supervision and producer services fees as qualified production expenses under the Georgia Entertainment Industry Investment Act. For projects produced entirely in Georgia, all sound recordings (excluding license fees) used in feature films, television specials, television series, or game development (including motion picture soundtracks) for projects requesting music supervision services are also qualified production expenses. For more information, see the Tax Incentive brochure.
